Once you have selected your school it will check against the list of other schools and automatically remove the string where there are three (3) or more matches.

You can then choose to exclude (or include) those with two (2) or more matches. Single hit results are automatically included and hidden from the page.

PLEASE NOTE that this is not a perfect process. Common issues include schools with too similar names (Augsburg and Augustana, Mount Union and Union, Central and North Central, etc.) and those will be more-reliant on bibs being visible.

Additionally the NCAA has been using sub-100 bibs the last few years and that can lead to matching with partial reads of bibs or obscured bibs.

While these are not unsurmountable they do require manual intervention and are part of our final editing process.
